An up and down weekend saw Eugene Jr and his E15Racing team suffering in the early going at Assen but Sundays feature race shows that you write this team off at your peril.

We caught up with Eugene Snr after the race to ask him what he thought of his sons performance.

What a brilliant effort by this young rider and his team, they had a huge journey ahead of them at the start of week and they dealt with it in style. Another good learning race and another step towards completing their first season in the BSB Paddock.
