Eugene and the team headed into the final weekend of the season knowing that they could look back on this year as a job well done. With just two more races left, the team were determined to show that their last results here at Brands were nothing more than bad luck

What a great way to end the season, a top six finish on this great circuit is a real achievement amongst this class of rider and had Eugene not been forced wide on lap nine, who knows where he might have finished.

​

13th overall for the season is a fantastic result for a rider who’s never seen these circuits before, so a big pat on the back has to go to Eugene Jnr for doing so well this season.

Others who also deserve our thanks are all of the sponsors that have made this years racing possible. In no particular order…. Caffrey International, J&F Group, McManus Brothers Surfacing, MV Commercials, IC Racing, CAS Commercials, Road Racing Ireland, Total AS24, AJ’s, Arai, VC Racing and of course Mercedes. Without the incredible support of these companies we wouldn’t be racing.

A big thank you also goes out to Patrick at Spartan Fitness in Belfast for keeping the Wee Bull in superb condition, you’re the reason we have had so few injuries this year so we thank you for that. Ryan Saxelby also deserves credit for his help with the bike, the mans a genius! Ryan Rainey  for being there whenever we’ve needed him, Michael Laverty for all his invaluable track walks, Eugene’s Mum, Sisters Emma & Sian, Wee brother James and Glenn Irwin for always having a minute for a chat…

We also need to thank every one at Team City Lifting for helping us settle in to life in the BSB paddock and becoming good friends in the process, you guys have been awesome and deserve your success this year. Thanks guys!

Lastly, thank you to all of the fans, everyone who’s liked us on social media, everyone who’s been down to the races and said hello and everyone who’s been cheering us on this season. You’ve all been incredible and we’re very lucky to have you as part of the E15 Racing clan.  Hope to see you all in 2017!!!! Oh, and sorry if we’ve forgotten anyone, we love you all, you know who you are.

Finally…..A HUGE congratulations go out to Ryan and Helen Saxelby on the birth of their second child last Sunday…. Well done guys, wishing you and the family health and happiness for the future.
