Eugene in confident mood for Round 1 opener...

The Wee Bull completed his pre-season testing in difficult and changeable weather conditions yesterday at Donington Park.

With many teams and riders deciding not to test Eugene put in a good early morning session to finish 3rd with a quickest lap time of 1:50.762 set on lap 5 of 9. Eugene made a brief appearance in session 2 but with the deteriorating weather he only managed a further 6 laps. Session 3 completed the days testing and Eugene again put in solid and consistent lap times

finishing at the top of the timing sheets ahead of Taz Taylor and Ed Best.

In the combined classification for all 3 sessions Eugene finished the day third, a great result! The Wee Bull was in buoyant mood;

"Today was good even in the wet, I wanted to test in these conditions as it's likely I will ride in the wind and rain at some point this year. I feel physically prepared for conditions like this thanks to Paddy ( Spartan Fitness Belfast ) I have had a good winter's training and testing, I am really lookng forward to next week and round 1"

Eugene senior added;

"It's all looking good at the moment, the bike is quick and Eugene's confidence is building, thanks to everyone involved we are all excited for the season to start now"

E15 Racing will be at Donington again next weekend 31st March - 2nd April as the Hel Performance Motostar British Championship begins.

The Wee Bull will face stiff competition with City Lifting's Tom Booth-Amos and Jake Archer already showing quick pace in testing, Edmund Best and Sam Llewellyn on the SymCirrus Motorsport Ktm's look impressive and with the return of 2015 series runner up Taz Taylor it should make for an exciting weekend of racing.
