After a winning GP2 start at Donington two weeks ago, Eugene McManus Junior is back in action this weekend ( 13-15 April ) for the first round of the Hel Performance British Motostar Championship at Brands Hatch. ( Round 2 of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship )
Back on his familiar RS Racing Moto3 KTM, The Wee Bull will undoubtedly be one of the stars to watch in this exciting series during 2018. I expect Junior to be challenging with Team City Lifting's Jake Archer for the top step in both Motostar opening races on this short 1.2 mile circuit. In 2017 a DNF in race 1 and a third place in race 2 gave the wee bull a steady start to the season and he is determined to collect a better points haul this time around;

"Last season I learn't a lot about the bike's performance and my own capabilities in this very competitive class, I'm confident I will be running at the front end and challenging for silverware. Pre-season training has been perfect thanks to Spartan Fitness Belfast so I'm in great shape and feeling strong going into round 1. It was good to get some experience on the Moto2 bike at Donny but I'm back to what I know best for Brands
