Supersport rookie Eugene McManus Junior, who celebrated his first championship points in the opening round at Silverstone is looking for a repeat at Oulton park next weekend.

The 20-year-old from Randalstown had to fight from the back of the grid at the last round after the bikes tyre pressure was found to be marginally below the required minimum. Undeterred he managed to bring the bike across the line in an impressive 11th in the British Supersport class. In the second race he was unable to capitalize on his grid position of 11th when he fell early on. Nevertheless, the team left Silverstone with much more than they expected when they arrived.

Younger brother James McManus gets a rest this weekend as there is no Junior British Supersport racing at Oulton Park.
