James McManus returns to Dickies Junior Supersport action this weekend. The fifteen-year-old from Randalstown County Antrim has been absent from the series since the Knockhill round in Scotland.
After older brother Eugene McManus Junior left hospital, following his big crash at Brands Hatch in June, the family have understandable been staying closer to home. At the end of August James took pole position at Mondello Park in the Junior Supersport category of the Dunlop Masters Superbike Championship.
He then went on to take a race victory by 2.5 seconds. Although he was taken down in race two he bounced back with a second place in the final race and that despite receiving a twenty-second penalty for a jump start.
Although this is the second visit of the British Superbike series to Oulton Park in 2019 the Dickies Junior Supersport riders did not take part at the round in May. Another new track for Wee Jimmy to get to grips with and another exciting challenge on the Team #109 Kawasaki 400.
