Young Randalstown racer James McManus returns to British Superbike Championship action, in the British Junior Supersport support class at Donington Park next weekend.
The Team #109 Kawasaki rider will compete on the 4 kilometre (2.5 mile) GP circuit which includes the Melbourne loop.
Although the purpose of 2019 is to learn the UK circuits, he was not too far form a possible points scoring finish in the last round at Oulton Park. Unfortunately, he clipped another rider whilst running in an excellent 18th and was unable to finish the race.
Between the BSB rounds James has been competing at Mondello Park. And with some encouragement from his older brother Euegen last weekend, he took two victories and a second place at Mondello Park in the Junior Supersport category of the Master Superbike Championship in Ireland.
