Eugene McManus and the reigning British Junior Supersport Champion, James McManus completed a positive pre-season test at Cartagena at the end of February.
The two used the time to familiarise themselves with their bikes in preparation for the British Supersport Season. It was important to get plenty of track time on their 2023 machinery and for James to start the process of handling the larger bike he will be using this year.
The vastly experienced father and son pairing of Ron and Leon Haslam was on hand to help the youngsters from Randalstown work on setting up the bike as well as plenty of tips on riding the circuit.
Eugene and James have now moved on to spend some time at the circuit in Almeria before heading north to the newly acquired Navarra ciruit for the British Superbike pre-season event from 11 March until 13 March 2023.
